Noodees is a zero-waste personal care brand that creates waterless powder-to-foam soaps packaged in 100% dissolvable materials. Their closed-loop innovation lies in eliminating traditional plastic bottles and liquid formulations, which are resource-intensive and generate waste.

Because the packaging fully disappears after use, nothing enters landfills or recycling streams. And by offering powder-based soaps, water consumption is reduced during production, and weight is reduced during transport, lowering environmental impact.

This approach proves that eco-conscious design can coexist with premium quality, encouraging consumers to adopt sustainable habits without compromise.

Where was your business when you entered the Challenge – and how have things evolved?

When we entered in 2024, noodees was about a month away from launching. We had all the elements lined up but were still needing to do our first manufacturing run and go to market.

Since then, we have done three manufacturing runs – still small but growing in units each time. We crowdfunded a launch at Decorex 2025, positioning ourselves as an innovative design product.

We’ve launched an e-comm store and listed with several retailers including Nude Foods in Cape Town, several online retailers and most importantly we’ve just recently gone live on Faithful to Nature. We’ve made two years’ contribution to 1% for the Planet.

We’ve had some wins: the Gold award for Sustainability from the Flexible Packaging Association in the US; and the Woman&Home award for Best Handwash.

Next, we would like to tackle Hospitality distribution.
